This is a 3.7V, 2700mAh Li-Polymer cell built to fit the Divoom Ditoo Pro portable Bluetooth speaker. It powers both the audio amplifier and the pixel art LED display simultaneously. Capacity matches the original AHB754860 spec at 9.99Wh.
- Ditoo Pro power architecture: The Ditoo Pro runs the amplifier and the LED matrix off the same battery rail. That dual draw means the BMS has to handle combined current spikes — audio transients plus display refresh — without tripping on voltage sag. This cell's protection circuit is rated for that combined load profile.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the Ditoo Pro's charge controller and monitored BMS handshake at full display brightness with audio running. The protection circuit accepted charge input correctly and did not trigger false low-voltage cutoff under combined amp and LED draw.
- Monthly discharge cycle for the Ditoo Pro: The Ditoo Pro typically sits on a desk and gets topped off constantly. Run it down below 20% at least once a month before recharging. Constant shallow top-off without a full discharge causes fuel gauge drift, so the charge indicator stops reflecting actual cell capacity.
Why the Ditoo Pro audio distorts before the battery indicator reaches empty
As the Li-Polymer cell approaches the lower end of its discharge curve, terminal voltage sags under amplifier load. The Ditoo Pro's amplifier clips when supply voltage drops below its operating floor — you hear distortion, but the battery indicator still shows one or two bars. This happens because the indicator reads resting voltage, not voltage under load. A degraded or aging cell hits that sag point much earlier in the discharge cycle than a fresh cell does.
Ditoo Pro not responding to USB charge after sitting unused for months
A deeply discharged Li-Polymer cell can drop below the minimum acceptance voltage the Ditoo Pro's charge controller will recognise on a USB connection. The device appears completely dead — no display, no charge indicator. To recover, connect the USB cable and leave it untouched for 20–30 minutes; the controller performs a trickle pre-charge to bring the cell above 3.0V before switching to normal charge current. If the display still shows nothing after 45 minutes, check that the USB cable is carrying data and power — a charge-only cable can prevent the controller from initiating the handshake correctly.
