This 3.7V, 750mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original cell in the Divoom IFIT 2 portable Bluetooth speaker. It fits both the IFIT 2 and IFIT-2 variants and matches the OEM part number EXC702544. If your speaker no longer holds charge or cuts out during playback, this cell swaps in directly.
- IFIT 2 and IFIT-2 compatibility: Both model designations use the same PCB layout, connector, and cell footprint. The EXC702544 cell measures 46.10 × 25.70 × 5.80mm — the same dimensions as the original, so the cell sits flush without pressure on the speaker housing or driver.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the IFIT 2 platform. The protection circuit handled low-voltage cutoff correctly and accepted a standard 5V USB charge without BMS errors or thermal spikes.
- Fuel gauge maintenance for daily use: If you use the IFIT 2 at a desk and top it off constantly, discharge it below 20% at least once a month before recharging. Continuous shallow cycling causes fuel gauge drift — the speaker reports full charge but actual capacity has quietly dropped.
Audio distorting before the battery indicator reaches empty
The IFIT 2 amplifier draws a current spike at higher volume levels. As the cell ages and internal resistance rises, voltage sags under that spike even when the indicator still shows charge remaining. The amplifier clips before the battery protection circuit triggers, so you hear distortion — not silence — as the first sign of a weak cell. A fresh 750mAh cell with low internal resistance eliminates that sag and pushes the clip threshold back above normal listening levels.
Speaker won't respond to USB after sitting unused for weeks
Li-Polymer cells self-discharge during storage. If the IFIT 2 sits unused long enough, the cell can drop below the USB charging controller's minimum acceptance voltage — typically around 2.5V — and the charger won't initialise. Plug into a 5V USB source and leave it for 20–30 minutes without expecting a charge indicator. The protection circuit needs time to trickle current into the cell before it registers as charging. If the speaker still shows no response after 45 minutes, the original cell has likely dropped into an unrecoverable deep-discharge state and needs replacement.
