This is a 21.6V 4500mAh (97.2Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Dreame H11 Max cordless stick vacuum. It also fits the H11 Pro, H11S, and H12 models. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds enough charge to complete a cleaning run.
- H11 Max, H11 Pro, H11S, and H12 compatibility: These four models share the same 21.6V battery platform, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. A battery that negotiates correctly with the H11 Max will do the same on the H11S and H12 without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell on the H11 Max under simulated full-suction load. The BMS held voltage above the motor's minimum threshold throughout the discharge cycle and tripped cleanly at low-cell protection without nuisance cutoffs under normal draw.
- Dock charging habit on the H11 series: Do not leave the H11 on the charging dock permanently. The H11 series dock does not terminate charge aggressively — extended dock time pushes trickle current into a full cell, accelerating capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the H11 Max
This is a voltage sag issue, not always a battery fault. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor draws more current than rated to maintain suction. That higher draw pulls cell voltage down faster than the indicator — which is calibrated to normal draw — can track. The indicator shows mid-charge while the cell is already sagging below the motor's usable voltage range. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest. If sag continues with a clean filter, the cell itself has degraded below 3.5V per cell at load.
Battery fade after months of leaving the H11 on the charging dock
Li-ion cells held at 100% state of charge under continuous trickle current degrade faster than cells cycled normally. The H11 dock keeps the battery topped up indefinitely, which stresses the cells at high voltage over time. Users typically notice this as a gradual reduction in usable run before the battery indicator drops — the rated 4500mAh capacity shrinks cycle by cycle. Once fade is visible, the original cell cannot recover; a replacement cell should be removed from the dock as soon as the charge indicator reads full.
