When the original cell degrades, suction drops noticeably before the indicator reaches low — this replacement restores full motor voltage.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
On the Mova 2.0, suction can drop well before the battery LED signals a low state — this is almost always voltage sag at the motor, not actual remaining capacity. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which pulls the pack voltage down faster than the indicator accounts for. The BMS reads cell voltage, not filter restriction, so the light stays green while suction suffers. Clean the filter first; if suction restores immediately, the battery was not the cause.
Motor cuts out mid-clean and recovers after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the Mova 2.0 runs over thick carpet or encounters a blockage, sustained restricted airflow causes the motor to spike current draw beyond the pack's rated discharge threshold. The BMS cuts power to protect the cells, then resets once current normalises — which is why the vacuum restarts seconds later. Check the roller brush for hair wrap and clear any blockage at the inlet before assuming the battery is at fault. If trips continue on an open floor with a clean filter, check that pack voltage sits above 22V under load.
