It fits the R10 Pro and R10 Pro Cordless Vacuum Cleaner models that use OEM part number V2213V-8S1P-BWA. Capacity figures are taken from the product specification — 2500mAh at 28.8V nominal.
- R10 Pro battery platform: The R10 Pro runs an 8-cell series lithium pack at 28.8V nominal. The BMS in this pack communicates voltage and temperature data back to the vacuum's motor controller. Any replacement must match that 8S cell configuration and the BMS handshake — a generic pack at similar voltage but different cell count will not pair correctly with the R10 Pro's motor board.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through full charge and discharge on the R10 Pro platform. The BMS held cell balance across all 8 cells, and the overcurrent trip threshold matched what the vacuum's motor controller expects during high-suction draw on carpet mode.
- Dock charging on the R10 Pro: Do not leave the R10 Pro sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charging accelerates capacity fade on lithium packs faster than normal cycle use. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock until the next clean.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The R10 Pro's motor controller reduces power output when pack voltage sags under sustained load — this happens before the battery indicator flags low charge. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw higher current than rated, which causes voltage to sag faster across the 8-cell pack. The BMS reads this as a stressed pack and throttles output to protect the cells. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest suction under the same carpet load.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, full dust bin, or a jammed brush roll — the motor draws a sustained current spike that exceeds the BMS protection threshold. The BMS opens the discharge circuit, cutting power. After the pack temperature drops slightly and load is removed, the BMS resets and the vacuum powers back on. Clear the restriction, check that the bin is empty, and verify the brush roll turns freely before switching back on.
