About this replacement
Dreame T20 Pro — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery (P2032-7S1P-BWB)
This is a 25.2V, 2700mAh Li-ion battery pack for the Dreame T20 Pro cordless stick vacuum cleaner. It replaces OEM part P2032-7S1P-BWB directly. Capacity degrades after repeated charge cycles — this replacement restores the vacuum's full suction capability.
- T20 Pro platform fit: The T20 Pro runs a 7-cell series pack (7S1P) at a nominal 25.2V. The BMS on this platform monitors cell balance and communicates with the vacuum's motor controller. A mismatched pack or incorrect cell configuration triggers a protection shutdown at startup.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through load testing on the T20 Pro motor assembly. The BMS held stable across high-suction mode, completed full charge termination cleanly, and showed no false overcurrent trips during sustained run under filter restriction.
- Dock charging habit on the T20 Pro: Do not leave the T20 Pro sitting on its charging dock permanently between uses. Continuous trickle current through the BMS accelerates cell capacity fade on this pack. Charge to full, remove from the dock, and reconnect only when depleted.
Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when individual cells inside the pack lose balance over time. One cell drops below the BMS protection threshold before the others, so the pack cuts power even though the indicator still reads mid-charge. The vacuum's motor controller sees a voltage sag under load — not a full depletion — and throttles output. A replacement pack with fresh, balanced cells eliminates this early cutoff.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a weak battery. It happens when the filter is partially blocked — the motor strains against restricted airflow, draws current above the BMS threshold, and the pack shuts off to protect the cells. After a few seconds the BMS resets and the vacuum powers back on. Clean or replace the filter first. If the cutout continues with a clean filter on a new battery, check the brushroll for hair wrap causing sustained mechanical load. Confirmed BMS trip voltage on this pack is set above 25.2V nominal draw.
