Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The T50 Mix motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked. The BMS reads this elevated draw as a voltage sag event and steps down power delivery before the fuel gauge registers low. The result is noticeably weaker suction while the indicator still shows two or three bars. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction restores immediately, the battery is not the cause. If the sag continues with a clean filter, the cell itself is losing its ability to hold voltage under load.
Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor fault. On the T50 Mix, sustained restricted airflow forces the brushless motor to pull above its rated current ceiling. The BMS shuts the output rail to protect the cell, then resets automatically after a brief thermal pause. If this happens repeatedly, check the filter and the brush roll for hair or debris. A fully clear airpath will bring the current draw back within the BMS threshold and stop the cutout cycle.
