Ecovacs TCR360 / D36 Series — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (ZJ1450)
This is a 10.8V, 3400mAh (36.72Wh) lithium-ion battery that replaces part number ZJ1450 in the Ecovacs TCR360 robotic vacuum. It also fits the D36A, D36B, and D36C variants sharing the same battery bay and connector layout. When the original cell degrades and the robot can no longer complete a cleaning cycle, this is the direct replacement.
- TCR360 and D36 series fit: These models share the same 10.8V three-cell Li-ion pack, battery connector, and BMS handshake protocol. The robot's control board checks cell voltage and pack ID before releasing drive power — the ZJ1450 spec satisfies that check across all listed variants.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on the TCR360 platform. The BMS held voltage within spec under sustained motor load, and the charge handshake completed without fault flags from the robot's onboard controller.
- Dock charging habit on the TCR360: Do not leave the TCR360 sitting on its dock between uses indefinitely. This robot trickle-charges continuously when docked, which accelerates capacity fade in Li-ion cells. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next cleaning session.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The TCR360 motor draws peak current when the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll is restricted. A degraded or low-capacity cell can't sustain the voltage under that load, so the robot throttles suction early — even when the indicator still shows charge remaining. This is voltage sag, not a software fault. Clean the filter and check the brush roll before assuming the battery is the cause. A healthy replacement pack should hold above 10.0V under sustained suction load.
Motor cutting out and then recovering mid-cycle
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the TCR360 runs over thick carpet or encounters a partial blockage, the motor draws more current than the BMS allows — the pack disconnects to protect the cells, then resets once current drops. It can look like an intermittent battery fault, but the real cause is usually a clogged filter forcing the motor to work harder than rated. Clear the filter and empty the dustbin fully. If the cutout stops after cleaning, the battery is fine.
