Print output fading or streaking on a charged battery
Faded or uneven print on a battery that shows a charge indicator is usually a thermal head voltage issue, not a paper or head-cleaning problem. The TM-P20's thermal head requires a steady voltage to hold print temperature across the full receipt width — voltage sag mid-print drops head temperature unevenly, producing light bands or streaking.
