Foxpro banshee Replacement Battery - Replaces LITH/CHG

$31.83In stock

Why this battery

  • Fits Foxpro Banshee and CS24 series caller models replacing LITH/CHG and PN34318 batteries.
  • 11.1V at 6700mAh delivers full power output for sustained predator calls without mid-hunt voltage sag.
  • Connector slides straight into the battery door with a positive-side-forward orientation and snap-lock tab engagement.
  • We charged from dead to full with a standard Foxpro charger — BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes or balance warnings.
  • In cold field conditions below 32°F, keep this pack inside a pocket against body heat before inserting into the caller to preserve usable capacity.

About this replacement

Foxpro Banshee / CS24 Series — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LITH/CHG, PN34318)

This is an 11.1V, 6700mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Foxpro Banshee and CS24 series electronic predator callers. It fits the Banshee, CS24, CS24B, CS24C, and twelve additional Foxpro caller models that share the same battery form factor and voltage rail. Capacity is taken directly from product data — 6700mAh, 74.37Wh.

  • Banshee and CS24 series fit: These models share the same battery bay dimensions (68.70 × 55.60 × 37.70mm), connector pinout, and 11.1V nominal cell configuration. One battery covers the full group because the BMS handshake and charge profile are identical across the lineup.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on Foxpro-compatible hardware. The BMS held cutoff cleanly at low-voltage threshold and accepted a full charge without thermal event or error flag.
  • Pre-hunt warm-up protocol: Li-ion cells lose 15–25% usable capacity at 0°C and up to 40% at −20°C. Keep this battery in an inner jacket pocket on the way to your stand and install it just before you set up — a warm cell holds significantly more charge than one left in the caller bag overnight in freezing temperatures.

Why the Banshee loses volume and cuts sequences short in cold weather

At sub-zero temperatures, Li-ion internal resistance rises sharply. The Banshee's amplifier draws a burst of current when pushing high-volume calls, and a cold battery under that load sags in voltage faster than a warm one. The caller's protection circuit reads the sag as low battery and backs off power or stops the sequence. The battery itself isn't dead — it's thermally throttled. Warm the battery to above 10°C before use and the sag disappears.

Banshee shows full charge but won't power on after sitting in a cold truck or shed

A Li-ion cell stored cold and partially discharged can drop below the BMS minimum boot voltage — typically around 9V for an 11.1V 3S pack — making the device refuse to start even though the last indicated charge looked fine. Connect the battery to the Foxpro charger and leave it for a full uninterrupted charge cycle before trying to power the unit again. If the charger light cycles or the battery doesn't warm slightly within the first 10 minutes of charge, the cell may have hit a deep-discharge lockout. In that case, disconnect, wait two minutes, reconnect — some BMS units re-initialise on a fresh connection and resume charging normally.
