Why the Volumat Agilia alarms low battery immediately after a confirmed full charge
The pump's BMS stores capacity thresholds calibrated to the original cell's charge history. A new replacement cell has no cycle data, so the BMS cannot yet verify it meets the internal pass threshold. This triggers a low-battery alarm even when the cell sits at full voltage. One complete charge-discharge cycle lets the BMS record actual capacity data and clears the alarm on subsequent boots.
Volumat Agilia fails to complete boot sequence after battery sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If a replacement battery has been on a shelf for several months, its resting voltage may fall below the pump's BMS recovery threshold — typically around 6.0V for a 7.4V nominal pack. Below that threshold, the BMS locks out the discharge path and the pump will not boot. Connect the battery to a compatible charger first and allow it to recover to at least 7.0V before installing it in the pump.
