This is a 7.4V 3400mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Fresenius Volumat Agilia and Volumat Agilia D infusion pumps. It replaces OEM part numbers 179033-R0, BATT/110320, MB1790, MB1790-O, 179033-R2, 88888749, and 110320-O. The cell matches the original voltage rail and connector pinout used across the Volumat Agilia platform.
- Volumat Agilia platform fit: The Agilia and Agilia D share the same battery bay geometry, connector, and BMS handshake protocol. A single cell replacement covers both variants because Fresenius standardised the power module across the platform from the first production run.

Why the Volumat Agilia alarms low battery immediately after a confirmed full charge
The Agilia's BMS stores a learned capacity profile from the previous cell. When a new cell is installed, the BMS compares the fresh cell's internal resistance signature against that stored profile, and a mismatch triggers a low-battery alarm even when the cell is at full charge. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Run one complete charge-discharge-recharge cycle, and the BMS overwrites the old profile with data from the new cell. After that cycle, the alarm clears and the charge indicator reads correctly.
Pump fails to power on after the replacement cell sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage, and if the cell voltage drops below approximately 2.5V per cell — 5.0V at the pack level — the Agilia's BMS enters a deep-discharge lockout state and will not pass current to the pump. The device shows no response at the power button. Connect the pump to mains power first and leave it on charge for at least two hours before attempting to power on from battery alone. The charge IC applies a low-current recovery charge that brings the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 6.0V at the pack terminals, before normal charging resumes.
