Fujitsu FMV-BIBLO LOOX T50H / T70H Series — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (FMVNBP121)
This is a 10.8V, 4400mAh (47.52Wh) Li-ion battery for the Fujitsu FMV-BIBLO LOOX T-series ultraportable notebooks. It replaces OEM part numbers FMVNBP121, FMVNBP122, FPCBP85, FPCBP86, and FPCBP86AP. It fits the LOOX T50H, T50J, T50K, T70H, and additional models in the same series.
- LOOX T-series compatibility: These models share the same 10.8V battery rail, physical connector, and BMS handshake protocol. A single cell swap covers the full T-series lineup without adapter or modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge, discharge, and BMS communication checks on the LOOX platform. The BMS initialised correctly, reported cell status to the OS, and charge termination triggered cleanly at capacity.
- LOOX T-series calibration after swap: After installing, run one full discharge down to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the false health warning that appears after most cell swaps on this platform.
BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after installation
The FMV-BIBLO LOOX BIOS reads EEPROM data written by the original cell during manufacture. When a new cell goes in, the EEPROM signature differs from what the BIOS last recorded, so it flags the battery as degraded or unknown. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Run one full discharge-to-hibernate cycle followed by a full uninterrupted charge. The BIOS learn cycle rewrites its reference data against the new cell and the health warning clears.
LOOX T-series shutting down at 20–30% battery shown
The fuel gauge IC on this platform estimates remaining charge using data calibrated to the old, degraded cell. When the new cell hits a voltage point the IC was not expecting, it triggers an emergency shutdown before the gauge reads zero. This is a calibration mismatch, not a defective battery. Complete two to three full discharge-and-charge cycles so the fuel gauge IC re-maps its curve against the new cell — shutdowns should stop once the gauge reads below 10.8V at the cell terminals accurately.
