Battery not recognised by the charger — what's happening and how to fix it
Gardena's HeartBeat charger performs a handshake with the battery's BMS before beginning a charge cycle. If the pack sits fully discharged for an extended period, the BMS may drop below the recognition threshold. Connect the battery to the charger and leave it for 10–15 minutes — most chargers will trickle-charge the pack back into a readable voltage range before switching to normal charge mode.
