The fix is straightforward — a fresh cell running at full voltage keeps the receiver operating at full sensitivity. If accuracy issues appear mid-round, check that the battery indicator is not already at one bar before you tee off.
Approach G7 shuts off without a low-battery warning
After a battery swap, the G7's fuel gauge algorithm takes one or two full charge cycles to recalibrate to the new cell. Until it does, the displayed battery percentage can be inaccurate — the watch hits the hardware voltage cutoff before the visual warning triggers. Run two complete charge and discharge cycles after installation. The indicator will align to the actual cell state once the internal calibration catches up to the new cell's discharge curve.
