This is a 3.7V 750mAh Li-ion cell that replaces the original battery in the Garmin EDGE Explore 2 GPS cycling computer and the Dezl OTR700 GPS navigator. Both devices use the same OEM part number 361-00056-12. Dimensions are 48.00 × 34.00 × 4.50mm — verify these against your original cell before fitting.

Why the EDGE Explore 2 shuts off without a low-battery warning
The on-screen battery indicator on the EDGE Explore 2 is calibrated against the original cell's discharge curve. When a new cell is fitted, the device's fuel gauge hasn't yet mapped its capacity — the indicator reads inaccurately for the first few full charge and discharge cycles. The device can hit its internal voltage cutoff threshold at 3.0V per cell before the visual indicator reaches the empty mark, causing a sudden shutdown. Run two or three complete charge-to-discharge cycles to let the gauge recalibrate.
Saved routes missing from EDGE Explore 2 after battery swap
The EDGE Explore 2 stores routes and course data in flash memory, which is non-volatile and does not depend on battery power to retain data. However, if the device was not shut down cleanly before the battery was removed, any unsaved activity or in-progress route state held in RAM will be lost. Saved courses pre-loaded via Garmin Connect or BaseCamp are unaffected. To recover, reconnect to Garmin Connect and re-sync — your course library will repopulate from the cloud.
