This happens because the MAC 2000's charge IC applies a conservative capacity threshold calibrated to a broken-in OEM cell. A new replacement cell has not yet completed a learn cycle, so the BMS under-reports available charge and trips the low-battery alarm prematurely. Run one complete charge-to-discharge-to-charge cycle before clinical use. After that first full cycle, the BMS recalibrates its capacity estimate and the alarm clears at the correct threshold.
