This is an 11.4V, 2000mAh (22.8Wh) Li-ion battery for the Getac F110 G2 rugged tablet. It fits the F110 G2, F110 G2-Core i5 5300U, F110 GGA 734020, and related F110 variants. It replaces OEM part numbers BP3S1P2160, BP3S1P2160-S, 24265710001, 24285710001, and 441857100001.
- F110 G2 platform fit: The F110 G2 series runs a shared battery bay and BMS handshake across Core i5 and GGA 734020 variants. All affected models draw on the same 11.4V three-cell rail, so one battery covers the full lineup without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through charge and discharge on the F110 G2. The BMS reported cell voltage correctly, accepted charge termination cleanly, and passed the tablet's internal validation without throwing a battery-health warning in the OS.
- Fuel gauge reset after installation: After fitting this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the device. This gives the fuel gauge IC one full reference cycle against the new cells and corrects the inaccurate percentage display that commonly appears after a swap.
Why the F110 G2 shuts down at 15–25% remaining
The F110 G2 runs a high-brightness display and active WiFi simultaneously in most field deployments. This combined load creates a voltage sag that the fuel gauge IC misreads as a near-empty state, triggering an OS-level shutdown well before the cell is actually depleted. The fuel gauge was calibrated to the old, degraded cell, so its discharge curve no longer maps correctly to the new battery's behaviour. One full discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by an uninterrupted charge resets the curve and pushes that false cutoff point back toward 0%.
Fast charging unavailable after battery swap on the F110 G2
After a battery replacement, the F110 G2's charge IC sometimes holds the session at standard rate until it completes one full accepted charge cycle with the new cell. This is a protocol handshake behaviour — the controller validates cell characteristics before unlocking higher charge current. If fast charge is still unavailable after a second charge attempt, verify the OEM Getac AC adapter is in use, since third-party adapters may not complete the negotiation. A confirmed full charge cycle with the correct adapter resolves this in most cases.
