It fits the GN151 smartphone directly, matching the original connector, physical footprint (71.70 × 56.41 × 4.23 mm), and voltage rail. Swap it in when the original cell can no longer hold charge through a normal day of calls and messaging.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the GN151 after a cell swap
A fresh Li-ion cell has a steeper voltage cliff than a worn cell — the GN151's fuel gauge IC is still reading the old, gradual curve. Under modem or display load, the new cell's voltage drops faster than the IC expects, and the phone shuts down before it reports zero. This is a calibration gap, not a faulty battery. Run one full discharge from 100% to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% uninterrupted. After that cycle, the coulomb counter resets to the new cell's actual curve and shutdowns at low percentage stop.
GN151 not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage — if this battery sat long enough to drop below 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent damage and the phone will not respond to the power button. Connect the phone to a wall charger, not a USB port, and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC delivers a trickle current that brings the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold. Once the screen shows a charging indicator, the BMS has cleared and normal charging resumes.
