Suction dropping on the SVC216F before the battery indicator hits low
This happens when the motor draws more current than rated — usually caused by a partially blocked filter or full dustbin, not a weak battery. The pack voltage sags under the elevated load, which the vacuum interprets as low charge and reduces motor speed. Clean the filter and empty the bin first. If suction recovers immediately, the battery was fine — the restriction was causing the false low-voltage signal.
Motor cutting out mid-clean and restarting after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor fault. When suction airflow is restricted — blocked filter, clogged brush roll, or pinched hose — the motor draws a sustained high current that breaches the BMS cutoff threshold. The BMS shuts the pack down to protect the cells, then resets once current demand drops. Clear the restriction, then hold the power button for three seconds to reinitialise after the BMS resets.
