This is a 3.7V Li-ion cell rated at 4300mAh (15.91Wh), built to replace the original battery in the Gotive H42 GPS navigator. It fits the H42 directly using OEM part number H42ACC0115. Swap the cell when the original no longer holds a charge through a full navigation session.
- H42 navigator fit: The H42 runs a single-cell Li-ion architecture at 3.7V nominal. This replacement matches that voltage rail and the BMS communication protocol the H42 uses to read state-of-charge — no firmware mismatch, no false low-battery alerts from day one.

GPS accuracy dropping at low battery on the H42
When cell voltage drops toward 3.5V, some GPS units reduce receiver sensitivity to lower power draw and extend the remaining charge. On the H42, this can show as position drift or a weaker satellite signal bar count — even though the unit is still running. The fix is straightforward: keep the battery above its mid-charge state during active navigation. If accuracy degrades mid-route, connect USB power and watch the satellite count recover within a minute or two.
H42 shuts off without warning before the low-battery icon appears
After fitting a new cell, the H42's fuel gauge is uncalibrated to that specific cell's discharge curve. The unit may hit its internal voltage cutoff threshold before the on-screen battery indicator visually reaches empty. Run two full charge-to-cutoff cycles after the swap — discharge the unit through normal navigation use rather than leaving it in standby. By the second cycle, the gauge reading and actual cutoff align to within a few percent, and the visual warning appears before the unit drops off.
