The Nautiz X1 cradle reads battery state through gold pogo-pin contacts on the base of the device. During a fast scan sequence, the Nautiz X1 draws simultaneous current for the imager and the wireless radio. On a degraded or low-charge cell, this combined inrush can drag cell voltage below the BMS protection threshold momentarily, causing the radio stack to drop and reconnect. The symptom looks like a network or Wi-Fi issue, but the root cause is voltage sag under combined load. Starting each shift with a fully charged pack keeps cell voltage above 3.5V under dual-load draw and eliminates the drop-outs.
