This 11.1V 800mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original cell in the Heim & Haus 16010 Rolladenantrieb smart home device. It connects via the MOLEX connector specified in OEM part number HH16010-MOLEX. When the original cell degrades, this replacement restores normal operation without replacing the full unit.
- 16010 and Rolladenantrieb platform fit: Both the 16010 and Rolladenantrieb variants share the same 11.1V three-cell Li-ion configuration and MOLEX connector pinout. The BMS in these units expects a cell within a specific voltage window on startup — this battery ships within that window.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles through the BMS handshake sequence. The protection circuit responded correctly to cell voltage, current draw during motor actuation, and over-discharge cutoff — no false trips observed.
- Post-swap reconnection window: After fitting this battery, wait at least 60 seconds before expecting the device to respond. The 16010 runs a mesh network re-join sequence after any power interruption — cutting that short by testing immediately can make the device appear faulty when it is not.
Sensor going offline mid-cycle after battery swap
The 16010 BMS has a voltage floor that triggers an immediate shutdown if cell voltage drops below roughly 9V under load. A new cell at storage voltage — typically 10.8V — sits close enough to nominal that casual testing passes, but the motor actuation spike can pull voltage below that floor instantly. This causes the device to cut out and go offline without warning. Charge the battery to full before installing, then confirm resting voltage reads at or above 11.1V before the first actuation cycle.
New battery triggers low-battery alert in the app immediately after install
Smart home hubs compare the reported cell voltage against a fixed alert threshold, usually around 10.5V for an 11.1V nominal cell. Batteries shipped in long-term storage can arrive at 10.6–10.8V — inside normal range, but close enough to the alert floor that the hub flags it. This is not a faulty cell. Connect the device to its charger for a full charge cycle first, then check the app again once resting voltage stabilises above 11V.
