This 3.8V 2800mAh (10.64Wh) Li-ion battery fits the Hikvision DS-MH2311, DS-MH1310-N1, and DSJ-HIKN1A1 body-worn cameras. These are compact wearable units used by security and law enforcement personnel for hands-free incident recording. The DV-04 cell format matches the original battery's connector, dimensions, and BMS handshake on all three models.

- Shift-start verification: After swapping a battery on a body camera, power the unit on and wait for the ready indicator before clipping it on. The camera runs a self-check on boot that confirms battery acceptance — skipping this step means a failed check won't show until mid-shift.
Recording cutting out mid-incident on the DS-MH2311
The DS-MH2311 draws from the battery on two simultaneous rails — the video processor and the wireless upload radio. When both are active at full load, current draw spikes sharply. If the cell voltage drops below the BMS protection threshold during that spike, the BMS trips and the camera cuts recording to protect the cell. This is more likely on an aged original battery but can also occur on a replacement cell that hasn't completed its first full conditioning cycle. Run one full charge before the first operational shift.

New Li-ion cells sometimes report inaccurate state-of-charge on the first few cycles because the camera's fuel gauge hasn't calibrated to the new cell's discharge curve. The indicator can read low or jump erratically even when capacity is available. Run the battery from a full charge to automatic shutdown once, then charge it back to 100% without interruption. After that full cycle, the fuel gauge recalibrates and the indicator stabilises at an accurate reading.
