Honor X50 Replacement Battery - Replaces HB526694EHW

$23.79In stock

Why this battery

  • Fits Honor X50 and X50i smartphones; replaces OEM battery HB526694EHW.
  • 3.9V lithium-polymer cell rated 5700mAh delivers full charge cycles on the X50 platform without capacity loss.
  • Connector seats into the standard Honor X50 battery slot with positive terminal forward; locking tab engages flush against the device frame.
  • We bench-tested this cell on a fresh X50 board — the fuel gauge IC accepted the new pack after a clean contact cycle and showed accurate voltage tracking through discharge.
  • On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the coulomb counter recalibrates against this cell's discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

About this replacement

Honor X50 / X50i — 3.9V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (HB526694EHW)

This is a 3.9V, 5700mAh (22.23Wh) lithium-polymer replacement battery for the Honor X50 and X50i smartphones. It replaces OEM part number HB526694EHW and fits the physical cell bay on both models. Install it when the original cell no longer holds a useful charge or fails to power the device through a normal day.

  • X50 and X50i compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — that is why one cell covers both. The 92 × 65 × 5mm pouch fits the chassis on either variant without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the HB526694EHW cell through charge and discharge cycles on X50 hardware. The BMS negotiated the charging protocol correctly, the fuel gauge IC accepted the cell, and voltage held steady under screen-plus-modem load without triggering a protection cutoff.
  • First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable Honor's fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. Under combined modem, display, and processor load, the new cell's terminal voltage drops faster than the fuel gauge IC expects — because the IC is still calibrated to the old cell's internal resistance curve. The phone reads 25% state-of-charge but the instantaneous voltage collapses below the protection threshold, triggering a hard shutdown. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a complete charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and eliminates this behaviour.

USB-PD or Honor fast charge not engaging after replacement

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on the X50 sometimes refuses to handshake with the charger's fast-charge protocol while the BMS is in its initial validation state. The phone charges slowly or shows the standard charge icon instead of the fast-charge indicator. Disconnect the charger, wait 30 seconds, and reconnect — or reboot the phone before plugging in. If fast charge still does not engage after a full first cycle, confirm the charger output is at least 5V/2A, which is the minimum the Honor charge IC requires to initiate protocol negotiation.
