This is a 3900mAh Li-Polymer cell rated at 3.85V, built to replace the original HB406689ECW / HB396689ECW battery in the Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus. It fits the standard TRT-AL00A chassis, including Dual SIM and TD-LTE variants. Dimensions are 86.60 × 66.20 × 3.80mm — same footprint as the factory cell.

- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the TRT-AL00A board. The BMS accepted the handshake without error flags, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.35V, and the protection circuit responded to simulated over-current events within spec.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC on this platform calibrates its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve — skipping this step causes the OS to display inaccurate percentages for several days.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Enjoy 7 Plus
An aged cell develops higher internal impedance. Under peak load — active modem, GPS, or screen at full brightness — terminal voltage drops sharply even when the reported state of charge looks healthy. The phone's hardware protection reads a voltage cliff and shuts down before the OS can log a low-battery event. A fresh cell with lower impedance sustains voltage under the same load, so the shutdown threshold is never triggered. After fitting this replacement, run one full discharge cycle before judging percentage accuracy.
Phone will not power on after sitting in storage
Li-Polymer cells that discharge below roughly 2.5V per cell trigger a BMS lockout — the protection circuit opens to prevent damage, and the phone appears completely dead. Plug in a charger and leave it connected for 15–20 minutes without pressing the power button; the charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the lockout threshold before the BMS resets. Once voltage recovers above 3.0V, the BMS closes the circuit and normal charging resumes. If the screen shows no response after 30 minutes on charge, verify the cable and adapter are delivering at least 5V 1A.
