This is a 3.85V, 3300mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Huawei P Smart 2019, including variants POT-LX1, POT-LX3, and POT-L23. It replaces part number HB396286ECW and fits the original battery bay without modification. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds adequate charge through a normal day.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the P Smart 2019 after a cell swap
The P Smart 2019's fuel gauge IC retains the discharge curve it learned from the original, degraded cell. When a fresh cell is installed, the IC's stored curve no longer matches real cell voltage behaviour — it miscalculates remaining capacity and signals shutdown before the cell is actually empty. This is not a fault in the replacement cell. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge cycle forces the coulomb counter to relearn the new cell's voltage slope. After that cycle, percentage readouts stabilise and early shutdowns stop.
HUAWEI SuperCharge not activating on the first cycle after replacement
Huawei's proprietary fast charge protocol requires the charge IC to complete a handshake with the battery BMS before stepping up current. On a freshly installed cell, that handshake sometimes fails on the first connection — the phone defaults to standard 5V/1A charging and stays there for the entire session. Disconnect and reconnect the original Huawei charger after the phone has booted fully and the battery icon is visible. If SuperCharge still does not activate, complete one standard charge cycle first; the BMS handshake succeeds reliably from the second cycle onward.
