This 21.6V 2600mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Ilife V9e robotic vacuum cleaner. It fits the V9e autonomous floor cleaning unit and matches the OEM voltage rail and BMS communication the V9e expects. Capacity is 2600mAh (56.16Wh), sourced to match the factory specification.
- V9e platform fitment: The V9e uses a dedicated battery bay with a proprietary connector and BMS handshake. This cell matches that connector pinout, voltage curve, and communication protocol so the vacuum's charge management system recognises the pack and proceeds normally through charge stages.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the V9e platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, charge termination triggered correctly at full voltage, and the motor draw profile matched what the original pack delivers across hard floor and carpet modes.
- Dock charging habit for the V9e: Do not leave the V9e sitting on its dock continuously after the charge completes. Robotic vacuums parked on charge indefinitely develop capacity fade faster than units charged only when the battery is depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next cleaning cycle.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the V9e
This happens when the motor is drawing more current than the battery can sustain cleanly at its present state of charge. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, pulling current above the normal operating band. The BMS responds by allowing voltage to sag rather than tripping the pack, so the indicator still shows charge remaining while suction weakens noticeably. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction restores, the battery is not the cause.
V9e motor cutting out mid-cycle and recovering after a few seconds
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor fault. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, full dustbin, or hair wrapped around the brush roll — the motor draws a sustained current spike that exceeds the BMS cutoff threshold. The pack disconnects briefly, the load drops, and the BMS resets automatically. Clear the restriction, then verify the battery resting voltage reads at or above 21.0V before the next cycle.
