Why the 754 Eagle flags a battery fault on the first charge cycle

The BMS reads this resistance delta as a marginal cell and may not release the fault flag even when the battery reaches full voltage. SLA cells stored before sale develop a surface charge pattern the charge IC doesn't recognise as a fully conditioned cell. The 754's charging circuit responds by capping current early and displaying an incomplete charge state.
