If the cell voltage is below approximately 3.5V when the battery is installed, the terminal may stall or loop at the boot screen before completing initialisation. Connect the terminal to the charging dock immediately after installing the battery and allow it to reach at least 3.6V before powering on. One full charge-to-completion cycle resolves this in almost every case.
