Why the Winner 2G Version 2 drops power during solenoid activation
When the remote transmits a crane movement command, the internal relay or solenoid driver draws a short inrush current spike that briefly loads the battery harder than idle transmission does. A partially discharged or degraded cell can't sustain voltage through that spike, and the remote's microcontroller resets or cuts out. This isn't a remote fault — it's a cell voltage problem. A fully charged 3.6V Ni-MH cell at 2000mAh handles these spikes without a dropout. If the issue persists on a fresh battery, check that the cell is fully charged before each shift.

This happens because Ni-MH batteries leave storage at reduced voltage — around 3.2V — not at full charge. The Winner 2G Version 2 reads cell voltage on startup and flags anything below its threshold as low. The fix is straightforward: connect the battery to its charger for a full cycle before first use. Once the cell reaches its nominal 3.6V charge state, the low-battery indicator clears and the remote operates normally.
