Why the BT3030 cuts out mid-call even with a charged battery

If the cell voltage dips below the BMS cutoff threshold — typically around 3.0V under load — the headset shuts down even though the resting voltage reads fine. A fresh cell resolves the sag issue, but the first full charge cycle must complete before the BMS calibrates its cutoff accurately against the new cell's capacity curve.

Base station shows full charge but headset dies after a few minutes

A replacement cell ships at storage voltage, usually between 3.6V and 3.8V. The charging cradle may interpret this as a near-full cell and terminate the charge cycle early. The headset then starts from a partially charged state and cuts off quickly under load. Place the headset back in the cradle, leave it undisturbed for a complete charge cycle, and confirm the indicator shows a full charge before use. After that first full cycle the charging circuit reads the cell correctly.
