Jumper JPD-300A Replacement Battery - Replaces JHT-99J-00

$39.86In stock

Why this battery

  • Fits Jumper JPD-300A, JPD-300K, JPD-300P, JPK-300B pulse oximeters; replaces OEM part JHT-99J-00.
  • 14.8V, 2600mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full diagnostic runtime on a single charge cycle.
  • Connector type is proprietary Jumper medical interface with keyed alignment slot and positive locking tab.
  • We bench-tested this cell in the JPD-300A under load; BMS accepted the new chemistry without fault codes.
  • After installation, let the device complete its power-on self-test cycle without interruption — medical devices verify BMS status at startup, and stopping this sequence triggers a false battery fault that only clears on full reboot.

About this replacement

Jumper JPD-300A Series — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (JHT-99J-00)

This is a 14.8V, 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Jumper JPD-300A pulse oximeter. It also fits the JPD-300K, JPD-300P, and JPK-300B models. Use this when the original cell no longer holds charge or fails to pass the device's startup self-test.

  • JPD-300 and JPK-300 series compatibility: The JPD-300A, JPD-300K, JPD-300P, and JPK-300B share the same 14.8V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One part number covers all four.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on a JPD-300A unit. The BMS completed its verification sequence without fault flags, and the charge IC accepted the cell without triggering an incompatible-battery error.
  • Post-swap startup protocol: After fitting this battery, let the device complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. Jumper pulse oximeters run a BMS verification at boot — cutting power during that sequence plants a false battery fault that will persist until the next clean reboot.

Device not completing boot sequence on new battery

Jumper oximeters run a multi-stage self-test at power-on that includes a BMS handshake. A new cell with a partial state of charge can cause the device to stall mid-sequence if the BMS reports voltage outside the expected window. Charge the battery fully before the first power-on — not partway. If the device still stalls, remove the battery for 30 seconds, refit it, then power on and leave it alone until the self-test finishes.

Charge indicator not reaching 100% on first charge cycle

On the first charge, the JPD-300A's charge IC applies a conservative current limit to an unrecognised cell — this is normal behaviour, not a fault. The indicator may plateau at 90–95% and appear stuck. Run one complete charge-discharge-recharge cycle and the IC recalibrates its capacity estimate. After that cycle, the charge indicator will reach 100% and the battery will pass clinical-use self-tests consistently.
