This 11.1V 2600mAh (28.86Wh) Li-ion battery replaces the original ICR18650-3S cell pack in the Jumper JPD-800A and JPD-800B portable pulse oximeters. These handheld medical devices monitor blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate non-invasively in clinical and home care settings. Cell degradation over charge cycles is the most common reason these units lose operating duration or fail to hold charge.

Device not completing boot sequence after battery swap
The JPD-800A runs a hardware self-test during every power-on cycle, and the BMS must report a voltage above the device's boot threshold before that sequence completes. A new cell that has partially self-discharged in storage can sit just below this threshold even though the cell is not faulty. If the unit freezes at the boot screen or shuts off before the main display loads, charge the pack fully before retrying — the charge IC on this pack targets 12.6V at full charge across all three cells.
Low battery alarm triggers immediately after a confirmed full charge
This happens when the device's BMS compares the new cell's charge profile against the threshold calibrated for the original factory cell chemistry. On a fresh replacement, the BMS hasn't completed a learn cycle and can misread state-of-charge on the first use. Run one complete charge-discharge cycle — charge to 12.6V, allow the device to discharge through normal use until it powers off, then charge fully again. After that first cycle, the alarm threshold recalibrates and the fault clears.
