Kaily S560 / S710 / S750 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (RD-KAI14.4VA)
This is a 14.4V, 2000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Kaily S560, S710, and S750 cordless vacuum cleaners. It replaces OEM part RD-KAI14.4VA and restores power to the motor and suction system. Capacity is rated at 2000mAh (28.8Wh), matching the original specification.
- S560, S710, and S750 fitment: These three models share the same 14.4V battery platform, connector pinout, and BMS communication profile. Swapping between them requires no modification — the pack seats and registers identically across the range.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through load conditions matching the Kaily motor draw. The BMS held its overcurrent threshold correctly and cut off cleanly under sustained high-draw conditions, then reset without issue on next charge.
- Dock charging on Ni-MH cells: Do not leave the S560 sitting on the charging dock permanently. Ni-MH chemistry is particularly vulnerable to continuous trickle charge — cells lose capacity faster than with lithium when kept on permanent dock power. Charge to full and remove.
Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
This is one of the most misread faults on the S560. Suction drops noticeably while the battery indicator still shows charge remaining. The motor is drawing harder than rated because airflow is restricted — usually a clogged filter pushing the current draw up until the BMS begins throttling output voltage. Clean the filter first. If suction recovers immediately, the battery was not the fault. If it does not recover after a clean filter, check resting cell voltage — a healthy pack should sit above 13.5V off load.
Motor cuts out during use then restarts on its own
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor sustains a high-draw condition long enough to trigger the pack's protection circuit. The BMS cuts power, the motor stops, and after a brief reset window it allows restart. The fix is not a new battery — clean the filter and check the brush roll for hair wrap restricting airflow. If cutouts continue after clearing the restriction, measure pack voltage under load; a healthy cell should hold above 12.8V at the motor terminals during normal suction.
