Karcher Cordless Lawn Mower — 36V Li-ion Replacement Battery
A 36V 5000mAh (180Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Kärcher 36V cordless garden tool platform. Fits the LMO 36-40 and LMO 36-46 cordless push mowers, plus the 36V Leaf Blower LBL 4 and other compatible tools in the same voltage family. One battery pack, multiple tools — that's the point of the shared 36V platform.

- First charge on a new pack: Run a full charge before first use and let the mower fully discharge at least once — this lets the BMS calibrate its state-of-charge readings accurately from the start.
Why 180Wh matters for a 40cm cutting deck
The LMO 36-40 draws significantly more current in mulching mode than in standard collection mode — the blade speed stays constant but the motor works harder through thick clippings. A 5000mAh pack at 36V gives enough headroom to handle that load without the BMS throttling output early. Thicker or damp grass will draw more current; dry, short grass will draw less.
Battery shows full charge but mower loses power quickly — here's why
This usually means the BMS has lost calibration, not that the cells are failing. It reads 100% at rest but can't accurately track discharge under real motor load. The fix is straightforward: charge the pack to full, run the mower until it shuts off on low-voltage cutoff, then charge fully again. One or two full cycles resets the BMS reference points and restores accurate charge reporting.
