This 36V 2000mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original power pack on the Kärcher K2 Follow Me cordless vacuum cleaner. It fits the handheld unit directly using the original battery slot and connector. Voltage and capacity match OEM spec: 36V, 2000mAh (72Wh).
- K2 Follow Me platform fit: The K2 Follow Me runs a 36V battery rail with a keyed slide-release housing. This cell matches that rail voltage and uses the same connector geometry and BMS communication protocol the vacuum's motor controller expects at startup.

The K2 Follow Me dock delivers a low-level trickle after the charge cycle ends — leaving the battery sitting on that trickle accelerates cell degradation faster than normal use cycles.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The K2 Follow Me motor controller pulls higher current when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter causes the motor to compensate, drawing well above its rated load. That elevated draw causes voltage to sag at the battery terminals even while the indicator still shows adequate charge. The BMS reads cell voltage directly, not capacity percentage, so the vacuum loses suction power before the LED warns you. Clean or replace the foam and HEPA filters first — if suction recovers immediately, the battery was not the fault.
Motor cutting out mid-session then recovering after a short pause
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the K2 Follow Me encounters sustained restricted suction — a blockage in the nozzle or a saturated filter — current draw spikes past the BMS protection threshold and the circuit opens to protect the cells. After 30–60 seconds the BMS resets and the motor will start again. Clear the blockage or clean the filter before restarting. If trips continue with clean filters and a fully charged cell, measure resting cell voltage — anything below 32V at rest indicates cell degradation.
