This is a 3.7V, 2000mAh Li-ion cell for the KAZAM Trooper2 5.0 and Trooper 2 X5.0 smartphones. It replaces OEM part numbers KLB200N291, KXX50, and 5834003661. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds charge or triggers unexpected shutdowns under load.
- Trooper2 5.0 and Trooper 2 X5.0 compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions (73.83 × 60.06 × 4.28 mm), connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers both variants without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge runs on the Trooper2 5.0 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the charge IC reached cutoff voltage cleanly at the top of each cycle.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge fully to 100%. This gives the fuel gauge IC one clean reference cycle against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging starts pushing current into an uncalibrated state.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Trooper2 5.0
This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity problem. Under peak modem or display load, the cell's terminal voltage drops sharply enough that the phone's protection circuit reads it as a low-voltage cutoff event — even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. A fresh cell with lower internal resistance sustains voltage under the same load. After fitting this replacement, run one full discharge-charge cycle so the coulomb counter maps the new cell's actual voltage curve and stops triggering early cutoff.
OS showing wrong battery percentage after cell swap
The fuel gauge IC on the Trooper2 5.0 stores a learned discharge curve from the old cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC compares live voltage readings against that stale curve — which causes percentage jumps, inflated readings near full, or a sudden drop to zero. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Discharge the phone fully until it powers off, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without removing it from the charger — that single cycle resets the coulomb counter reference and the percentage display stabilises.
