This is an 11.1V, 2200mAh (24.42Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 10 convertible notebook. It fits models 59-439199 and 59-407061 and replaces OEM part numbers L13M3Z61, L13S3Z61, and L13L3Z61. The physical dimensions are 200.50 x 31.10 x 17.50mm — verify clearance before fitting if your unit has any aftermarket chassis work.

The Flex 10 BIOS reads EEPROM data written by the original factory cell. When a replacement cell goes in, that stored data no longer matches the new cell's characteristics, so the system flags poor health before any real degradation exists. This is a calibration state, not a fault with the new battery. Run one full discharge-to-hibernate then a full uninterrupted charge to 100% — the BIOS learn cycle rewrites the health reference against the new cell and the warning clears.

The fuel gauge IC estimates remaining capacity using historical cell data from the old battery. After a swap, those reference points are wrong, so the displayed percentage no longer maps accurately to the actual cell voltage. Under full CPU and display load, the cell hits its voltage cliff before the gauge reaches zero — triggering an abrupt shutdown. Two to three full discharge-and-charge cycles recalibrate the fuel gauge against the new cell. After calibration, the system should not cut off until the cell drops to approximately 10.0V under load.
