This is a 3.8V, 3550mAh (13.49Wh) lithium-polymer replacement battery for the Lenovo IdeaPad S5000 and its close relatives. It fits the TAB 2 A7-20, IdeaTab 2 A7-30, and Tab A7-50, among others. All share the same L13D1P31 cell format, connector, and charge IC handshake.

- Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After installing this battery, run the tablet down to automatic shutoff — do not force it off — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This single full cycle resets the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's actual capacity curve and clears the inaccurate percentage readings that appear immediately after a swap.
Tablet shutting down at 15–25% remaining after battery replacement
This happens when the fuel gauge IC still references the old cell's voltage-to-capacity curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under combined display and WiFi load that the IC misreads as a safe level — then the system cuts power without warning. The fix is one full discharge-to-shutoff followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that cycle, the gauge recalibrates and the premature cutoff stops.
Fast charging unavailable on the IdeaPad S5000 after a battery swap
Some units show fast charge as greyed out or simply charge at standard rate after a new cell is installed. The charge IC needs at least one completed charge cycle before it re-enables the higher current profile — this is a protocol handshake, not a hardware fault. Plug in using the original Lenovo charger and let the tablet charge from near-zero to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, fast charge re-enables automatically on the next plug-in.
