This is a 3.6V, 8200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 10. It fits the YT3-X50 series, including YT3-X50F and ZA1N0039NZ variants. It matches OEM part numbers L15D3K32, L15C3K32, and 5B18C03587.
- YT3-X50 series compatibility: The YT3-X50 line shares a common battery bay geometry and connector pinout across the F and M sub-variants. The BMS on each uses the same voltage thresholds and communication protocol, so one cell spec fits all units in this series.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a YT3-X50F board. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, charge current ramped correctly through CC/CV phases, and the protection circuit triggered cleanly at low-voltage cutoff.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: After installation, run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This happens when the fuel gauge IC still holds calibration data from the old, degraded cell. The tablet's power management interprets a voltage dip under combined display and Wi-Fi load as a critically low state and forces shutdown — even though usable charge remains. It is not a fault with the new cell. Run one full discharge cycle to automatic shutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle, the fuel gauge re-anchors its empty-voltage reference and the early shutdowns stop.

The percentage display is driven by a fuel gauge IC that tracks charge by counting coulombs against a stored capacity model built on the original cell. Fit a new cell and that stored model no longer matches actual cell behaviour, so the reported percentage drifts — often reading 100% while the tablet still charges, or jumping from 40% to 5% with no load change. The fix is a single recalibration cycle: discharge fully to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After one complete cycle the IC updates its model to match the new cell's actual voltage curve.
