LG Glance / VX7100 / UX7100 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LGIP-910R)
This is a 3.7V, 800mAh Li-ion replacement cell for the LG Glance, VX7100, and UX7100 smartphones. It replaces OEM part numbers LGIP-910R, SBPL0092701, and LGIP-910B. If your Glance shuts down unexpectedly or no longer holds a charge, this cell restores full operating capacity.

- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable any fast-charge adapter and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter to the new cell's discharge curve before it reports accurate percentages.
Why the LG Glance reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The Glance uses a fuel gauge IC that stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC still references that old curve — so the percentage readout is wrong until the counter resets. The fix is one full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that cycle, the IC recalibrates its internal model against the actual voltage profile of the new cell and percentage reporting stabilises.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the replacement cell
This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity fault. At low state of charge, the cell voltage drops sharply under modem or screen load — and if the fuel gauge IC is still running the old calibration, it won't predict that cliff accurately. The phone's low-voltage cutoff triggers before the display percentage reaches zero. Run the one-cycle recalibration described above, and confirm the cell rests at approximately 3.85V when the phone shows 50% — if it reads significantly lower, the IC needs another full cycle.
