This is a 3.7V, 2000mAh lithium-polymer battery for the LG Optimus Vu and F100 series tablets, including the F100L and F100S. It replaces OEM part numbers BL-T3, EAC61798901, and EAC61798903. Optimus Vu shutting down between 15–25% remaining
This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's voltage curve. When the display and Wi-Fi radio draw current simultaneously, the new cell's voltage briefly dips below the threshold the IC expects at that state of charge. The tablet interprets this as critically low and cuts power. One complete discharge-to-shutoff cycle followed by a full charge corrects the IC's reference point and eliminates premature shutdowns.
Battery percentage jumping or dropping faster than expected from 100%
Fuel gauge drift is common after any battery swap — the IC learned its accuracy map from the original cell and that data no longer matches the replacement. The reported percentage can fall several points faster than actual capacity in the first few charge cycles. Run one full discharge to automatic shutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 4.2V (100%). Most users see stable, accurate readings within two cycles after that.
