USB fast charge not activating after BL-44E1F installation

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the V20's charge IC may stay in trickle or standard mode rather than switching to Qualcomm Quick Charge. The charge IC uses BMS handshake data to confirm cell state before allowing high current — a new cell with no charge history can cause the IC to default to a conservative profile. This usually self-corrects after the first full charge cycle completes. If fast charging still does not activate after cycle two, confirm the charger delivers at least 9V/1.67A and the cable supports the current load — the issue is more often the cable than the cell.
