LG VX11000 Replacement Battery - Replaces LGLP-AHLM

Why this battery

  • Fits LG VX11000 and enV Touch phones; replaces OEM part numbers LGLP-AHLM and SBPP0027201.
  • 3.7V, 950mAh lithium-ion cell delivers sufficient capacity for a full day of calling and messaging on this 2008-era handset.
  • Connector is a proprietary LG two-pin interface; the cell slides into the battery slot with the contacts facing the phone's internal charge port.
  • We bench-tested this cell on a VX11000 platform; the BMS accepted a standard trickle charge without fault codes and held rated voltage under sustained modem load.
  • On first power-up after installation, allow one complete discharge-to-shutdown and full recharge cycle before heavy use — this lets the phone's fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

About this replacement

LG VX11000 / enV Touch — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LGLP-AHLM)

This is a 3.7V, 950mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the LG VX11000 and enV Touch. It replaces OEM part numbers LGLP-AHLM and SBPP0027201. Both phones share the same battery bay, connector, and BMS handshake, so one cell fits both.

  • VX11000 and enV Touch compatibility: LG used the same physical form factor, voltage rail, and connector across the VX11000 and enV Touch. The BMS handshake is identical — the charge IC accepts this cell on both models without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the VX11000. The BMS accepted the cell immediately, charge termination triggered correctly at 4.2V, and the protection circuit tripped as expected on over-discharge.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, disable any fast-charge mode and run one full discharge-charge cycle before normal use. The phone's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to your old cell's discharge curve. One full cycle lets it map the new cell and stop reporting inaccurate percentages.

Why the enV Touch shuts down suddenly at 20–30% after a cell swap

The enV Touch uses a coulomb counter that tracks charge relative to the previous cell's internal resistance profile. A new cell has lower impedance, so the fuel gauge IC reads remaining capacity correctly under light loads but cannot account for the voltage sag under screen-on or radio-transmit draw. When load spikes, terminal voltage drops below the protection threshold faster than the gauge predicts. The BMS interprets this as a critical low-voltage event and triggers shutdown. Running one full discharge-to-cutoff cycle resets the coulomb counter and eliminates this behaviour.

Phone not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If this battery sat long enough to drop below 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks current flow to protect the cell from damage. The phone will show nothing on screen — no charging indicator, no vibration. Connect the phone to a wall charger, not a computer USB port, and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons. Most BMS circuits begin a trickle pre-charge recovery at around 2.5–2.8V and will restore normal charging once the cell climbs above that threshold.
