This is a 3.8V, 2000mAh Li-ion cell built to the OEM spec of part number BL-41A1HB (also listed as EAC63319901). It fits the LG X Style, K200, K200ds, and K200dsK, along with several other K200-series variants. When the original cell loses capacity or fails to hold charge, this unit restores the phone to normal operation.
- K200 platform compatibility: The X Style and K200-series devices share the same battery bay dimensions (76.48 × 47.90 × 4.15mm), connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why a single cell covers all variants in this family.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the BL-41A1HB through charge and load cycles on K200-series hardware. The BMS accepted the charge IC handshake without error flags, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its coulomb counter against the new cell's actual discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the LG X Style after a cell swap
This is a voltage cliff issue, not a defective cell. The fuel gauge IC on the K200 platform was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. A new cell has a different internal resistance profile, so the IC underestimates remaining capacity under load — particularly when the modem or display draws a current spike. The phone reads 25% but the modelled voltage drops below the shutdown threshold. One full uninterrupted discharge-charge cycle at standard rate re-anchors the coulomb counter to the new cell. After that cycle, shutdowns at partial charge typically stop.
OS reporting an incorrect or jumping battery percentage after replacement
The Android fuel gauge IC on the K200 series stores learned capacity data from the previous cell in non-volatile memory. After swapping in a new 2000mAh cell, that stored data no longer matches the actual cell chemistry. The result is erratic percentage readings — sometimes jumping 5–10% in either direction with no load change. To force a recalibration, drain the phone until it shuts off automatically, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without removing the cable. Check the percentage stabilises at 4.35V at termination before trusting the readout.
