This is a 3.7V, 5200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Logitech Circle 2 wire-free home security camera. It fits the Circle 2 indoor and outdoor variants, including models listed as ICES-3(3), NMB-3(B), and V-U0045. Swap it in when the original cell can no longer hold charge or causes the camera to shut down unexpectedly.
- Circle 2 wire-free platform: All Circle 2 wire-free variants share the same 3.7V cell format, connector pinout, and BMS handshake. That common hardware base means this cell works across the indoor, outdoor, and wire-free configurations without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Circle 2 platform. The BMS accepted the cell cleanly, voltage stayed within spec across the charge curve, and the camera's motion recording triggered correctly under load.
- First-install power cycle: After fitting the new cell, power cycle the camera once through the Logitech app. The firmware must register the new cell before motion events log correctly to cloud storage — skipping this step can cause missed recordings on the first night.
Camera going offline in the app after a battery swap
Replacing the battery in the Circle 2 can drop the camera's active session token, which the Logitech app uses to maintain a live connection. When the token is lost, the app shows the camera as offline even though the cell is fully charged and the hardware is functioning. This is a firmware-side issue, not a battery fault. Remove the camera from the app and re-add it through the standard setup flow to re-register the device and restore the connection.
App reporting 0% or an incorrect charge level after install
The Circle 2 uses a voltage-threshold indicator rather than a fuel gauge IC — it reads the cell voltage and maps it to a percentage using fixed reference points. A new cell at rest voltage can fall between thresholds, causing the app to display 0% or an obviously wrong figure. This is not a faulty cell. Run one full charge cycle from flat to 4.2V and the indicator will calibrate its reading to the correct threshold band.
