Maircle S3 / S3 Mate Cordless Pet Vacuum Cleaner — 25.2V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This 25.2V 2200mAh (55.44Wh) lithium-ion battery replaces the original power pack in the Maircle S3 and S3 Mate Cordless Pet Vacuum Cleaner. It fits both variants in that line and restores suction power when the original cell has faded beyond usable capacity. Voltage and connector match the factory spec — no modification needed.
- S3 and S3 Mate compatibility: Both models share the same 25.2V battery platform, connector layout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between these two variants uses the same cell — the motor controller reads voltage and charge state the same way on both.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and full-load discharge passes on a cordless vacuum test rig. The BMS held the 25.2V nominal rail without dropout under sustained motor draw, and the protection circuit tripped correctly on a simulated blocked-filter overcurrent event before recovering cleanly.
- Dock charging discipline on the S3: Do not leave the S3 on the charging dock permanently. Continuous dock contact keeps the cell in a trickle-charge state that accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock until the next use.
Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low
This happens when the motor is working harder than its rated draw — typically from a partially blocked filter or restricted airway. Extra motor load pulls the cell voltage down faster than the indicator circuit expects, so the vacuum feels like it is losing charge early when the real cause is resistance in the airflow path. The BMS reads the voltage sag and begins throttling output to protect the cell. Clear the filter and check the inlet for blockage first — if suction recovers, the battery is not the issue.
Motor cuts out mid-clean then comes back on its own
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained suction restriction forces the motor to draw above the cell's rated current threshold, the protection circuit cuts output and waits for load to drop before resetting. The restart usually takes 10–30 seconds. Clean the filter thoroughly — a clogged filter is the most common trigger for this trip. If the cutout repeats after the filter is clean, check that the replacement cell's BMS current rating matches the original spec at 25.2V nominal.
