This is a 3.7V 350mAh lithium-polymer replacement battery for the MGI Zip Navigator Remote Control and Zip Navigator AT Remote Control. It fits the OEM part number PT403035 and restores wireless control of MGI motorized golf carts. Voltage and capacity match the original cell exactly.
- Zip Navigator and Zip Navigator AT compatibility: Both remotes use the same PT403035 cell on the same 3.7V rail with an identical connector footprint. The BMS in each remote handshakes with a Li-Polymer cell — substituting a different chemistry will trigger a protection cutoff.

Why the Zip Navigator remote goes dead faster than expected after a new battery
Li-Polymer cells in low-draw remotes lose capacity through shallow-cycle degradation — repeated partial discharges without a full recharge compress the usable voltage window over time. The MGI remote's IR LED and microcontroller draw very little current per press, but parasitic standby draw accumulates when the remote sits unused. A stuck or partially depressed button is the most common cause of faster-than-expected drain — the IR LED fires continuously even with no intended input. Check all buttons move freely and return flush before assuming the cell is faulty.
Zip Navigator remote not responding at all after battery swap
A remote that shows zero response immediately after a new battery is almost always a polarity reversal — the PT403035 pouch cell has a marked positive lead and it must align with the connector's positive terminal. If the cell is seated backwards, the BMS blocks all output as a protection measure and the remote appears completely dead. Disconnect the cell, confirm the polarity markings on both the cell and connector, and reseat it correctly. After correct installation the remote should respond within one button press at normal operating distance.
