This 12V, 4200mAh lithium-manganese dioxide battery replaces the OEM LM34S002A cell used in Mindray BeneHeart C series AEDs. It fits the BeneHeart C, BeneHeart C1, BeneHeart C1 Fully Automatic, BeneHeart C2, and two additional variants in the same family. Li-MnO2 chemistry is standard for AED applications — it holds voltage flat under pulse load and stays stable across a wide temperature range without active cooling.

Why the BeneHeart C flags a battery fault after a clean swap

The BeneHeart C's BMS stores state-of-health data from the previous cell. This triggers a fault flag even when the cell voltage is correct. Running one full charge cycle after installation lets the BMS calibrate its learn registers to the new cell and clears the fault without a service call.

Low-battery alarm firing immediately after a confirmed full charge

This happens when the charge IC applies a conservative current limit on the first charge of a new Li-MnO2 cell, leaving it a few hundred millivolts below the BMS acceptance threshold even though the charger shows complete. The BeneHeart C's self-test then reads the resting voltage, finds it below the OEM calibration point, and raises the alarm. The fix is straightforward: leave the battery on charge for a full second cycle without interruption. After cycle two, resting voltage should sit above 12.6V and the alarm will not repeat.
